Cleaning Polishing
Good oral hygiene is important, not only for looks, but for general health as well. Poor oral hygiene can lead to a variety of dental and medical problems such as gum disease, infection, bone loss, heart disease, strokes and more. Regular check ups (every 6 months) and cleanings can prevent these problems as well as provide you with good oral hygiene.

Tooth Whitening

Dental bleaching, also known as tooth whitening is one of the most conservative and cost-effective dental treatments to improve or enhance a person’s smile.
The tooth whitening is either professionally applied (in the dental office) or dentist-prescribed/dispensed (patient home-use).
Current tooth bleaching materials are based primarily on either hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. Both may change the inherent color of the teeth but for safety and efficacy, tooth bleaching is best performed under professional supervision.
The effects of bleaching can last for several months, but may vary depending on the lifestyle of the patient. Factors that decrease whitening include smoking and the ingestion of dark colored liquids like coffee, tea and red wine. Also results may vary depending on such factors as type of stain, age of patient, concentration of the active agent, and treatment time and frequency

Veneers Laminates
Porcelain Veneers,
Porcelain dental veneers are a beautiful way to correct stained, chipped, or crooked teeth. By placing glass-like ceramic porcelain on the surface of teeth, dentists can provide patients with bright, straight, and natural looking smiles. If you are considering veneers but would like more information about the process of placing porcelain veneers and the cost of treatment, please read the information below and contact a dentist in your area

Smile makeover

Complete makeover ( smile )
A smile makeover refers to any combination of cosmetic dental procedures that enhances the beauty and appearance of the smile, correcting almost any problem:
- crooked teeth can be straightened
- chipped, broken teeth can be repaired
- missing teeth can be replaced
- gaps between teeth can be closed
- stained, discolored teeth can be whitened
The result?

Dental Implant

A smile that is straight, white and even A dental implant is a titanium "root" used in dentistry to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth to replace missing teeth.
Virtually all dental implants placed today are root-form endosseous implants, i.e., they appear similar to an actual tooth root (and thus possess a "root-form") and are placed within the bone (end- being the Greek prefix for "in" and osseous referring to "bone").
The bone of the jaw accepts and osseointegrates with the titanium post. The osseointegration is the component of this implant procedure that makes it resemble the look and feel of a natural tooth.
Prior to the advent of root-form endosseous implants, most implants were either blade endosseous implants, in that the shape of the metal piece placed within the bone resembled a flat blade, or subperiosteal implants, in which a framework was constructed to lie upon and was attached with screws to the exposed bone of the jaws.
Dental implants can be used to support a number of dental prostheses, including crowns, implant-supported bridges or dentures. They can also be used as anchorage for orthodontic tooth movement. The use of dental implants permits unidirectional tooth movement without reciprocal action

Orthodontic Treatment

For most people, a beautiful smile is the most obvious benefit of orthodontics.
After your braces come off, you'll feel more self-confident. During your treatment, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible.
How Orthodontic Treatment Works
Orthodontic appliances can be made of metal, ceramic, or plastic .They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth.By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to a corrected position. This is a great time to wear braces! Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can choose brackets that are clear or metallic color. You can choose the color of the ties that hold the wire in brackets. Wires are also less noticeable than they used to be and the latest materials move teeth faster with less discomfort to patients.
Duration of Treatment
Treatment time typically ranges from one to three years, depending on the growth of the patient's mouth and face and the severity of the problem. Patients grow at different rates and will respond variously to orthodontic treatment, so the time to case completion may differ from the original estimate. The patient's diligent use of any prescribed rubber bands or headgear is an important factor in achieving the most efficient treatment. Interceptive, or early treatment procedures, may take as few as six months.
Orthodontics For Children and Teens :
It's best for the orthodontist to see children by age 7 to advise if orthodontic treatment is required and it is the best time for that patient to be treated. The first permanent molars and incisors have usually come in by that time and crossbites, crowding, and other problems can be evaluated. When treatment is begun early, the orthodontist can guide the growth of the jaw and guide incoming permanent teeth. Early treatment can also regulate the width of the upper and lower dental arches, gain space for permanent teeth, avoid the need for permanent tooth extractions, reduce likelihood of impactedpermanent teeth, correct thumb-sucking, and eliminate abnormal swallowing or speech problems. In other words, early treatment can simplify later treatment.
Orthodontics For Adults :
Orthodontic treatment can be successful at any age and adults especially appreciate the benefits of a beautiful smile. One of every five patients in orthodontic treatment is over 21. Jaw surgery is more often required for adult orthodontic patients because their jaws are not growing. Adults also may have experienced some breakdown or loss of their teeth and bone that supports the teeth and may require periodontal treatment before, during, and/or after orthodontic treatment. Bone loss can also limit the amount and direction of tooth movement that is advisable.
Damon System
The Damon System is now available from orthodontists all over the world. A great Damon smile can enhance self-esteem and self-confidence at any age, plus improve overall oral health. Many Damon patients see a noticeable change not only in their teeth, but in their entire face. That's because Damon System treatment creates a beautiful, broad, natural smile, which provides stunning facial balance, and creates a dynamic, more youthful look.
Invisalign system
Consider Invisalign to get the beautiful straight teeth you've always wanted — without braces. A complimentary consultation with one of our doctors can determine if Invisalign is right for you.
What is it?
Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing. So, you can smile more during treatment as well as after. Invisalign is made with 3-D computer imaging technology and has been proven effective. More than 70% of orthodontists in the US and Canada are certified to treat with Invisalign.
Why would I want it?
Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. They are also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment. And no metal and wires usually means you spend less time in your doctor's office getting adjustments. Invisalign also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.
How does it work?
You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to the final position your doctor has prescribed. You'll visit our office about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.
Lingual system
What are lingual braces?
The term "lingual” refers to the inside (tongue or palate) surface of the tooth. Lingual braces are attached to that inside surface unlike traditional braces which are fixed to the outside of the teeth. With the braces positioned on the inner surface, it makes them practically invisible and provides cosmetic orthodontic treatment without the distraction of typical braces.
Why choose lingual braces?
If you are self conscious of your appearance and would not feel confident wearing traditional braces, lingual braces are an excellent choice. You are concerned about wearing braces that are visible, lingual treatment might be the right choice. If you present frequently to audiences or clients and want to maintain a professional image while getting a great smile, lingual braces would also be good for you. An orthodontist who specializes in lingual braces can evaluate your needs and help you decide if lingual orthodontic treatment is right for you and your lifestyle

Periodontal Surgery

Gum has its own diseases and problems, as the hard dental tissue. Distortion of the gum may be as a result of aging infections and/or bad oral care or hygiene.
The main reason for gum inflammation (gingivitis) and supportive tissue of the tooth (periodontitis) is the plaque, which consists of millions of toxic harmful bacteria that may cause gum pockets, tooth movement, or even teeth loss. There are other factors that increase the susceptibility of gum disease, including diabetes, smoking, genetic factors, immune diseases, certain medications, malnutrition and pregnancy.
Symptoms of gum inflammation include redness - swelling - bleeding when brushing teeth - bad smell- unpleasant breathe – gum abscess- recession of the gums and expose the roots causing increased tooth sensitivity- bone destruction- increased tooth mobility.
There are two types of gum treatment, surgical treatment and non-surgical treatment, and the choice between them depends on damage of the gums. The main objectives of gum treatment are to remove the plaque, reduce of swelling and reduce the depth of periodontal pockets so avoiding worsening of the gum condition.
Cosmetic gum surgery plays a big role in drawing a perfect smile on the face, and is made to repair or correct excess gum problems, improve appearance of irregular gum shape, as well as problems with receding gums and is performed under local anesthesia.

Oral Surgery

Dental Surgery
A number of conditions may require oral surgery, including:
IMPACTED TEETH : More often than we like, one or more of the teeth fails to emerge in proper alignment or fails to fully emerge through the gum and becomes entrapped or "impacted" between the jawbone and the gum. Impacted teeth can result in swelling, pain, and infection of the gum surrounding the impacted teeth. In addition, impacted teeth can cause permanent damage to nearby teeth, gums, and bone and can sometimes lead to the formation of cysts or tumors that can destroy sections of the jaw. Therefore, dentists recommend people with impacted teeth have them surgically removed.
IMPROVE FIT OF DENTURES. For first-time denture wearers, oral surgery can be done to correct any irregularities of the jaws prior to creating the dentures to ensure a better fit. Oral surgery can also help long-term denture wearers. Supporting bone often deteriorates over time resulting in dentures that no longer fit properly. In severe cases, an oral surgeon can add a bone graft to areas where little bone remains.
TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT (TMJ) DISORDERS : Dysfunction of the TMJ, the small joint in front of the ear where the skull and lower jaw meet, is a common source of headache and facial pain. Most patients with TMJ disorders can be successfully treated with a combination of oral medications, physical therapy, and splints. However, joint surgery is an option for advanced cases and when the diagnosis indicates a specific problem in the joint.

LESION REMOVAL AND BIOPSY : Oral surgeons can take a small sample of abnormal growth or tissue and then send it for laboratory testing for identification. Some lesions can be managed medically while others have to be removed by the oral surgeon.
FACIAL INFECTIONS : Pain and swelling in the face, neck or jaws may indicate an infection. Infections in this area of the body can sometimes develop into life-threatening emergencies if not treated promptly and effectively. An oral surgeon can assist in diagnosing and treating this problem. Surgical treatment, if needed, may include cutting into and draining the infected area as well as extracting any teeth that might be involved.

Crowns and Bridges

Crowns are a type of dental restoration which, when cemented into place, fully cup over the tooth.
In comparison, fillings are dental restorations that fill in or cover over just a portion of a tooth. Since dental crowns encase the entire visible aspect of a tooth, a dental crown in effect becomes the tooth's new outer surface.
Crowns can be made out of porcelain, metal (a gold or other metal ), or a combination of both.
Other terms that are used to refer to dental crowns are "dental caps" and "tooth caps."
Dental crowns are recommend for a variety of reasons but, in general, most of these reasons will usually fall within one of the following basic categories:
- To restore a tooth to its original shape.
- To strengthen a tooth.
- To improve the cosmetic appearance of a tooth.
Dental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth.
A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap and a false tooth/teeth in between.
These false teeth can be made from gold, alloys, white porcelain or a combination of these materials.
Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants.
Among the benefits of dental bridges are :
- Restore your smile
- Restore your ability to properly chew and speak
- Maintain the shape of your face
- Distribute the forces in your bite properly by replacing missing teeth
- Prevent remaining teeth from drifting out of position

Composite Fillings

Cosmetic fillings
A dental filling is a type of restorative dentistry treatment used to repair minimal tooth fractures, tooth decay or otherwise damaged surfaces of the teeth. Dental filling materials, which include composite, porcelain and silver amalgam, may be used to even out tooth surfaces for better biting or chewing.
Enamel loss is a common component of tooth decay, and may result in tooth sensitivity. In many cases, tooth sensitivity caused by enamel loss will be significantly improved or completely eliminated once an appropriate dental filling material is placed.
But in some cases, depending on the extent of tooth decay or damage, the affected tooth may require additional or alternative procedures, such as a crown, bridge, implant, or root canal.

Pediatric Dentistry

Children treatments
baby teeth can get cavities and may need to be treated. They serve as very important space maintainers for permanent teeth to follow.
By three years of age, most if not all baby teeth have erupted. Soon after four years, spaces for permanent teeth begin to appear as the jaw, supporting bone structure and facial bones begin to grow.
From six to 12 years, it is typical for your child to have both baby teeth and permanent teeth in their mouth.
FIRST DENTAL VISIT t: It is important that your child see a dentist by age one to establish a long-term dental hygiene and professional dental cleaning plan.
DENTAL SEALANTS : Dental sealants are used to protect teeth from decay and are appropriate as soon as a tooth erupts.
FLUORIDE TREATMENT : Check with your dentist about the need for fluoride treatments. Fluoride is a major component in the prevention of childhood dental caries. This is because fluoride alters the molecular structure of the tooth, making it more resistant to acid attack and decay.
However, children require the right balance of fluoride treatment. Too much fluoride could be problematic and lead to fluorosis.

DENTAL FLOSSING : Parent-assisted dental flossing should commence when two teeth erupt next to each other. Independent flossing should occur when children have the ability to do it on their own (often by six years of age).
ORTHODONTICS: Orthodontics may be appropriate as early as by seven years of age.

Root Canal Treatment

Our dentist are trained to diagnose and treat problems located inside of the tooth with special endodontic equipment. they focus solely on endodontic procedures. Endodontics, or Root Canal, is the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the dental pulp. The pulp is made up of nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue, which are important in tooth development.
The procedure
The Root Canal procedure usually requires one to two visits, depending on the number of teeth and severity affected. However, this does not include follow up visits which are often necessary.

Step 1:
The dentist will examine the tooth and x-rays before numbing the area around the affected tooth. A small protective sheet called a "dental dam,” is placed over the area. This will isolate the tooth and keep it clean and free of saliva throughout the procedure.
Step 2:
They will then drill through to the pulp area, either through the top or the back of the tooth. Very small instruments and an antiseptic solution will be used to clean the pulp and root canals and a space is shaped for a filling.
Step 3:
When the space has been cleaned and shaped, the dentist will fill the root canal with a biocompatible material. This is usually a flexible plastic material called "gutta-percha” ensuring that the root canals are completely sealed. Normally, a temporary filling will be inserted to close the opening. The temporary filling will be removed by your dentist before the tooth is restored.
Step 4:
After your final visit to your dentist, you must return to your dentist for the restoration work. If there is no sign of any infection a crown or permanent filling will be inserted within a month of the root canal procedure.
Step 5:
If the tooth is too weak to hold the restoration in place, your dentist may place a post inside the tooth. Ask your dentist for more details about the specific restoration planned for your tooth.
