Dr Batley is a UK qualified Consultant Orthodontist. Dr Batley loves providing patients with an amazing smile in a natural manner through braces. He is certified in clear aligners (Invisalign), ceramic braces, self-ligating systems (Damon) and lingual braces (WiN).  

Dr Batley strives to provide the highest quality specialist orthodontic care with friendly and professional expertise, ensuring that you and your family are in his skilled and caring hands. He works with many dentists for smile (aesthetic) makeovers (composite bonding and implant placement). He helps patients achieve their desired results by utilising the latest in digital technology. 

He worked a Consultant Orthodontist in the NHS at the Glasgow Dental Hospital and School (UK), where he managed complex cases in multi-disciplinary teams for hypodontia (missing teeth), orthognathic (jaw) surgery and impacted (hidden) teeth cases. Concurrently, he was a Honorary Clinical Teacher for the University of Glasgow- recruiting, supervising and training undergraduate and postgraduate students. 

Dr Batley graduated from the well-regarded University of Manchester (UK) in 2008. He then underwent extensive postgraduate training and education across the North of England and West of Scotland, covering Medical Teaching and Public Health, Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. He received his Doctorate in Orthodontics from the University of Glasgow- considered to be one of the best Dental Schools (Universities) in the UK. He was then elected to the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (UK) as a Fellow. He has presented at UK conferences and has several international publications to his name. 

He loves spending time with his wife and two young children and enjoys sports and comedies.
