Marukh is a licensed pediatric Speech and Language Therapist with 3 years’ postgraduate experience working specifically with children aged 2-19. A conscientious therapist who is very passionate about working with children with speech, language and communication difficulties, Marukh has gained extensive experience in the pediatric field through working in various voluntary, statutory and private sectors in the UK, but particularly from working in the National Health Service (NHS). She has vast experience in assessing, diagnosing and offering intervention for children with phonological difficulties, oro-motor difficulties, language delays/disorders, and social communication difficulties. She also has experience in the realm of Alternative/Augmentative Communication, Specific Language Impairment, Dysfluency, and Bilingualism.
Marukh chose to become a Speech and Language Therapist after being inspired by the story of a close family member who regained his ability to communicate after suffering from a stroke. She continues to be inspired by the amazing children she works with every day.
